Murraythwaite is set in the middle of the lower Annan and offers excellent fly fishing for salmon with a number of pools and swift runs that hold fish at all heights of water.
The fishery has, until now, only been offered on a limited season ticket basis and the fishing pressure has been light.
Despite the light fishing pressure a good number of fish have already been recorded in 2011.
The fishery is set in amongst mixed woodland and pastures and is a wonderful place to ‘get away from it all’ and enjoy the unspoilt rural landscape of the Southwest of Scotland.
As well as having some excellent water for salmon there are goods stocks of grayling and brown trout throughout the fishery.
