Loch Garbet Beg, at the head of the Rhiconich River, is a classic loch fishery for salmon, producing 45 in 2011. The river itself (one mile long) is so choked with boulders that, apart from a few small pools, it is virtually unfishable. Kinlochbervie Hotel also lets fishing on Rhiconich Estate’s Loch na Thull and Loch Asir Mor, both of which yield occasional salmon.
