Over two miles of double bank. The River Isla, one of the main tributaries, enters the river at the Junction pool and this always holds a few fish. It has an excellent reputation for spring fishing and can yield the first fish off the river. June to August is the prime time for salmon and sea trout before the back end run appears in September.
