Abernethy stretch. Six miles from half mile upstream of Boat of Garten to Broomhill Bridge (near Nethybridge). Main season from May with June and July best months. Spinning allowed as some pools not really suitable for fly. 80-100 salmon and 150-300 sea trout annually. Aviemore stretch. One and a half miles single bank on Aviemore side. Spinning permitted as banks make fly-fishing difficult in places.
