The Stinchar is essentially a spate river, but can produce excellent sport in the right conditions. The main run of salmon and sea trout occurs between July to October.
Dalreoch water consists of 3 miles of water, that is split into 3 beats. The largest of them holds 6 to 8 rods.
The fishing is by fly only and anglers are asked to follow the River Stinchar anglers Code of Practice.
