This is a very attractive accessible beat, owned by the Friars Carse Country House Hotel.
This is the only beat which can offer both fishing and accommodation. The hotel now has three self-catering cottages within the grounds – recently renovated to a high standard.
The beat has a mixture of pools which provide for fishing with fly, spinning or worming. A good riverside footpath allows anglers with mobility problems to fish some of the more productive pools without difficulty.
