The biggest river in the west Highlands, comparable with the middle Dee in width and flow. With its gravelly runs, open-banked deep-flowing pools and tantalising glides, it is ideal fly water. Divided into four rotating beats (each over two miles long), each fishing four rods. In addition all fishers have access to the productive pools both below the Dam at Mucomir and the Tailrace- the estuary beat where water abstraction from the top of the River Spean enters the Lochy again.
