Morphie is situated about 1.5 miles from the sea with the Kinnaber beat at its lower end and the Canterland beat topside above Morphie Dyke.
It is the most productive beat on the North Esk offering a delightful balance of fly and spinning water dependant on water height.
The riverbanks are well maintained there having been an extensive programme of repair work carried out over recent years.
