Forth & Teith – Stirling Council Fisheries

Stirling Council manages salmon fishing interests on the River Forth at Stirling and also on the River Teith at Callander. The councils policy is to offer quality salmon fishing at a price affordable to all. There is a strong emphasis on access particularly for persons less able than others.

Conservation of the stocks is taken very seriously with anglers catches limited. The council were the first in the U.K. to introduce carcase tagging whivh is now being rolled out on other fisheries throughout the country.
