Sunlaws is a very attractive beat starting at the viaduct at Roxburgh village and upstream through scenic grassland and woodland. It is situated about 3 miles from the joining of the Teviot with the Tweed at Kelso.
The beat is 1.8 miles of which 1 mile is double banked. There are 11 pools ranging from 4-10 feet with the best fishing in the higher water in the autumn. Fishing is predominantly bank and wading although a boat is provided for crossing and some fishing.
A basic hut is provided and a ghillie can be arranged if required. There are paths along the beat but it is not suitable for less able guests.
