Tweed – Till, Tiptoe

The Tiptoe beat is one mile long, set in and attractive managed woodland valley and is fished from the right bank. It is approximately 2 miles upstream from the junction with River Tweed. The fishing is predominantly for salmon and sea trout but GRAYLING FISHING is available from 1 June to 31 March. Please phone for details.

On arrival the angler will be welcomed and provided with a descriptive map of the pools. There is a freezer, catch book and lavatory available at the farm.

Access to the beat is from Tiptoe Farm, where cars can be parked, followed by a short walk down a steepish bank which leads to the River Till. This beat is for the able-bodied, for day or night fishing.

The Tiptoe beat has 14 named pools, which provide exciting and varied fishing, with a mixture of streamy and holding pools, allowing wading and bank fishing. A fishing hut is positioned mid-way with a bench and a shelter.
